The Cornell NCRN node welcomes Long Zhang as a postdoctoral fellow

The Cornell NCRN node welcomes Long Zhang as a postdoctoral fellow. Long is a statistician and data scientist who works on machine learning and statistical disclosure limitation. He comes to Cornell from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Department of Statistics where he completed his Ph.D. in December 2014. He will work with NCRN PIs John Abowd and Lars Vilhuber on  two NSF-funded projects (TC: Large and NCRN-Cornell), working on the interface between economics, computer science, and statistics to develop disclosure avoidance methods appropriate for complex economic microdata. Long starts on April 1, 2015.
