On Saturday, Oct 15, 2016, Carnegie-Mellon University and many friends and colleagues celebrated Steve Fienberg in Pittsburgh, PA. Several academic presentations were made, including the inaugural "Fienberg Lecture" given by Stephen Stigler on "Bayes, Price, and Collegiality in Scientific Discourse". Reflections by colleagues and friends on Steve's life and life with Steve were interspersed throughout the day. A cocktail reception ended the day.
